dog digging to cool off?
I frequently take my puppy to play at the playground near my house to play. Whenever he gets tired we take a break and go sit on the playground equipment, he doesn’t like coming up onto it and sits under it in the shade. I just noticed the other day that since it’s been getting hotter he has started digging little holes before he lays down. I was just wondering is this normal, or he just being his weird self?
Very normal. The dirt beneath the surface is cooler than what’s been sitting in the sun.
