My dogs keep fighting?
I have 2 female dogs. 1 is a pitbull and the other is a rottweiler. Today they were fighting for the third time and they spilled blood. I sprayed them with the hose and i even have a nozzle and it didnt affect them they kept fighting. I dont want to get rid of any of the dogs because they’re both part of the family. They don’t really fight but they’ve had these encounters and i hate seeing them like this. Any help please???
I kno some of you are going to say training lessons but is there any other option that i could do myself?
In general 2 females will not fight unless they have a good reason to. Both these breeds are fairly volatile and I would imagine it could be hard to stop a fight if started, normally a hose would do it, especially if aimed right in the face.
Training may help but not neccessarily. If things get worse, you may have to consider re-homing one of them. Not an option you want but for the sake of the dogs, it may be neccessary. It’s not the answer you want – sorry !
