how do i convince my mom to let me get a small indoor dog?

i really want to get a little yorkie or teacup yorkie for christmas,but my parents wont budge the answer.i am very responcible but we allready have to family dogs 1 9 year old and a 2 yr old,but i want my own.they keep saying a dog isnt like a piercing it affects the whole house but i really want my own dog to dress and spoil.it would sleep in my room in a cage and everything.so how could i convince her please answer i need to help pay for it if im going to get 1!!!

You Cannot convince your parents to get you a dog. The fact that you want to dress it up and spoil it but keep it in a cage (your words) show that you are not the responsible, mature person you think you are.

Dogs are dogs and as your mother points out, not like a piercing. There is also no such breed as a teacup yorkie. They are just the sickly runts of a litter sold for their cute size and very often end up being super expensive due to many vet bills.

Do more research, start saving your money and learn more about dogs and in while, when you get older your parents might agree. They are the ones legally responsible for the animal and financially responsible so they are making choices for many reasons you have not even considered.
