Best way to remove dog bandage after spay?
I recently rescued a 3 year old mini dachshund and had her spayed today. The vet wrapped a bandage around her mid-section and the receptionist told me to remove it at my discretion if it starts bunching up. It has not begun to scrunch up yet, however it is so tight around her that it is pulling her fur (she is long-haired) and I am worried it is causing her added pain. It is an adhesive bandage and I would appreciate any feedback on how to remove it as painlessly as possible. Thanks 
The receptionist told me the surgery went fine. I did not think to ask why she had a bandage on at the time, as I could only think of getting her home. I should have inquired about it though, that is my fault. (I suspect I was still peeved at her for making me feel like an idiot for bringing a tshirt with my scent on it to put in Zoe’s cage before and after the procedure.) Thank you for your advice: I will take her into the vet’s office tomorrow.
why did they put a bandage around her? was there a problem with the spay? as far as removing it, you could cut it off, but you might run the risk of cutting her unless you have bandage scissors (not regular scissors) or you could just pull it off slowly or you could take her back to the vet and have them remove it and they can check her incision also (that is what i would do).
